Money Market Funds are open-end mutual funds, which invest only in money markets and can be taxable or tax-exempt.
Excess cash in your Regal account will be swept into a taxable or tax-exempt money fund. Each day, all available cash balances coming from trades and distributions are automatically transferred into your interest-bearing investment or money market fund.
You can choose either a taxable or nontaxable fund from Reich & Tang Funds for your money market account. Your priority account lets you invest in the money market fund that best suits your needs. Reich & Tang offers taxable, government, federal tax free, and state tax free.

The Institutional Daily Income Fund/Money Market Portfolio and the Institutional Daily Income Fund/US Treasury Portfolio have an initial requirement of $1 million.
