Pop-up Blockers

Pop-up windows are used to communicate with the client on the trading site. If one or more pop-up blockers are installed and enabled, the pop-up windows will be prevented from being displayed. There are a variety of pop-up blocker software packages available. Many are included with a number of programs including Adobe Acrobat, Search Toolbars and a variety of Internet Browsers. In order to circumvent the pop-up blocker software, try the following:

Inaccurate Data

It is possible that your browser's settings are setup with dial-up defaults. While these default settings were useful before high-speed Internet access was available, they are out of date and can cause issues when used with today’s web sites. Please verify that you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and follow the instructions below:

  1. At the top of Internet Explorer, click on Tools and select Internet Options.
  2. In the General tab, click on the Settings button located in the Temporary Internet Files area located in the middle portion of the window.
  3. Change the setting for Check for newer versions of stored pages to Every visit to the page and click OK.
  4. Next to the Settings button, there is a Delete Files button. Click on this button.
  5. A pop-up window will appear that has a white check box next to the words Delete all offline content. Place a checkmark in the box by clicking on it and then click OK. Please wait for the hourglass to disappear. This may take some time to complete successfully.

Session Cookies

It is possible that your browser's settings are configured to not allow for session cookies. In order to properly use the trading site, these settings will need to be changed. Please verify that you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and follow the instructions below:

  1. At the top of Internet Explorer, click on Tools and select Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Privacy tab and select Advanced.
  3. Place a checkmark in the box next to Override automatic cookie handling if it is not checked. This should show First party Cookies and Third party Cookies with Accept underneath each.
  4. You should also see a clear checkbox with Always allow session cookies. Place a checkmark in this checkbox if it is not checked by clicking on it and click OK.
  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options control panel.
  6. Reboot the computer and log back into the site.

Unable to View Statements and Confirmations

Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to view statements and confirmations. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available at www.adobe.com.
