Another day, another record as S&P Futures (Spuz) rise +1.35% at 5,063, trading as high as 5,067.75 and taking out the Feb 12th all-time best 5,066.50 and the Nasdaq 100 is up over 2% as the tech space rallies behind NVDA earnings and guidance, giving a boost across the technology, Artificial intelligence, and semiconductor chip stock sectors. Nvidia (NVDA) topped Wall Street’s expectations for fourth-quarter earnings and revenue and projected “continued growth” in 2025 and beyond, giving the stock market the boost it needed after slipping the last few days. There are lots of other earnings report, a busy day of Fed speakers and economic data, better Eurozone data overnight, a decline in the dollar – but none of that matters as NVDA earnings, which were hyped as the most important earnings results of the quarter, lived up to the hype with technology stocks surging and stock markets at highs in a big rebound. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index jumped 836 points to 39,098, the Shanghai Index gained 37 points to 2,988, and the Hang Seng Index advanced 239 points to 16,742. In Europe, the German DAX surges 248 points to 17,366, while the FTSE 100 is up 22 points to 7,684.
